Group Research Project

My group has chosen to do our topic on a psychopath named Edward Gein. What is interesting about this man is he did unruly things to innocent people because he never knew how to act. Growing up as a child he had no father figure only his alcoholic abusive mother was around. He never left the house to socialize with other people. He was always kept at home and never met other people, including women. He has some sort of an obsession with women, that he was skin their body and wear their skin as a mask and act like a women. Back in the 1950's his house was located on a farm far away from town so no one would ever come to his house to socialize so he stayed by himself after his mother died. The only relationship he had with the outside word was gruesome comic books, so he thought it was a normal world. My major is criminology so this has everything to do with my interest. I one day want to be a private investigator and get into the criminal's minds to ask why, how, and what maybe influenced them to act the way they do.

One of the topics I chose is legalization of marijuana. I am not a drug abuser but I have smoked marijuana before. I think legalizing marijuana will bring down crime rate and also bring american's healthier futures. Marijuana has never been none to kill any human being, just to relax a human and bring them to peace.

Obesity, is there a cure? Should government step in and do something for americas culture when reaching obesity? I think after a certain weight limit americans should be forced to join gyms and diets. The parents are putting their future children in risk of obesity and unhealthy life styles.

One topic is whether or not parents should vaccinate their children for their future. We have heard so many different stories about being vaccinated and other stories from the harms of vaccinations.

Hello, my name is Erin and I am currently a Sophomore at The University of West Georgia. I am majoring in Criminology. I also am associated with greek life as an Alpha Xi Delta. Things I like to do include listening to music, dancing my heart out, hanging with friends and meeting new people. I am the type of person who can never meet a stranger, I'd say my personality is not hard to get along with.
